Trumpet Designs is the fine art photography component of ECS. Mary Ann Dancisin studied cinematography at NYU's School of the Arts in the 1980's. A career in fine wine occupied her for the next two decades, and allowed her to travel to some of the world's most exquisite regions. A recent decision to refocus and repurpose her life led to the development of Trumpet Designs.
Photography has long been a passion for her. "I have a tremendous amount of respect for any individual who can control the production of a motion picture," Mary Ann says. "But I knew early on I was not suited to the group process that is filmmaking. It's an incredibly difficult thing. Working by myself, on still images, gives me the satisfaction of calling something 'my own.' It's my unique, personal aesthetic, and my own creative process."
